Family Law

When Your Family Is Complicated, Your Legal Representation Shouldn't Be.

Family law matters are rarely just legal problems. They involve people, relationships, history, children, finances, and emotions — all at once.

I understand that some family law cases are genuinely complicated. High-conflict relationships, custody and placement disputes, domestic violence, substance abuse, mental-health concerns, difficult co-parenting dynamics, complicated assets, long marriages, lengthy separations, and post-judgement problems can require more than a standard approach.

Sometimes the solution requires creativity. Sometimes it requires patience. Sometimes it requires drawing a very clear line.

And sometimes, the most important thing I can do for a client is tell them that the position they want to take isn't the position that I believe is in their best interest.

My goal is not to create conflict where none is necessary. My goal is to help you understand where you stand, protect what matters, and find a path forward that allows both parties—and especially the children—to move on with their lives.

Children should not be placed in the middle of adult conflicts. Whenever possible, I work towards solutions that protect children from becoming pawns in disputes that belong between their parents.

Every family is different. Your legal strategy should be, too.

"My goal is not simply to resolve your legal matter — it is to give you the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions every step of the way."
